HAPPY ST. PATRICK'S DAY!

Hope you are wearing your GREEN today! I'm not, but I did make a small attempt with my eyeliner. For some reason, I thought that it would be more green than it ended up being. It just proves that aqua is really in the blue family! Oh, well! At least I have avoided getting pinched!

Today, I am obsessing over the nasty cold sore that I have on my lip. I think it's from eating all those almonds that I've been consuming. I read somewhere that almonds are a good snack to eat, and they help you lose weight. Well, I haven't lost a darn pound, and but I do have a nice little cold sore on my lip. For some reason, every time I eat a lot of nuts, I get cold sores.

Ick! So much for using any of the new lipglosses that I got! I can't use any lip products until this thing goes away. I don't want to contaminate them or anything. Grrr... All I've been able to use today is Cherry Chapstick. At least it gives a hint of color, but the main thing is that it's cheap, so I can throw it away immediately after my lip heals. Gross!

Speaking of gross, there was another annoying kid on the train this morning. He sounded like a teradactyl... he would've made a perfect stand-in on Jurassic Park. All he did was shriek for 10 minutes. Oh, and bang his head around. He'll probably grow up to be a metal-head... or maybe he'll grow up to be a rock star... you know, the ones that are rich and famous, yet can't play their instruments or sing. Of course, his mom didn't do anything to calm him down, although everyone else in the car was giving them evil looks. Heavens forbid that she be a M-O-M.

It's pretty scary to think that I'll soon be a grown-up, and someday, I'll be a mom. I will be a total drill sergeant when it comes to my kids. Yeah, I'll be loving and affectionate, but you can be sure that I'll be the first to discipline! I don't want to be the one with the unruly kids!

Lately, I've been having little "blasts from the past." It's weird to hear about people that I haven't thought of since high school. I guess I always sort of figure that when I lose touch with someone, they'll obviously be doing something with their lives, but I never think that I'll see them again. Weird! It's pretty cool to get in touch with people from the past, I guess!
